Biggest up ticks in American Thai Professions

This is a totally opinionated post.  None of what is written here has been verified.  Although living in the Thai community makes me think that I have a pretty good idea about what is going on here.

So it seems that nowadays most Thai people – especially men are getting computer jobs or becoming doctors.  I have on buddy of mine who decided to go to school, buy some chiropractic tables and set up shop as a chiropractor.

On the female side – I know a lot of women who have taken after their Filipino friends and become nurses.  A number of my friends that are female have also become doctors.

Just some food for thought.  I just guess it’s kind of weird that I just sit here and blog while most people go out there and do something!

Thai Women Are Getting Larger

According to a recent study by the English Crown Union of Research, Asian women are getting bigger.

According to the research Asian women in the last 10 years have increased from an average weight of 102 lbs at 5’2 inches tall to a record 5’4 inches tall and 115 lbs.

It looks like these beautifully exotic women will have to start wearing some plus size lingerie pretty soon!

Of course, along with the increase in this trend we have also seen a statistical increase in African American men that are either pursuing a relationship or have secured a relationship with an Asian woman.  Researchers assume that this is in accordance with the trend that African American men prefer women with larger frames with curves on average.

Asian Displays in Marketing

One thing that really frustrates me when I go shopping is that they only have American “white” maybe a few “black” representations in the store front displays.

I know that it’s cost effective to buy a mannequin that looks like the consumer that buys the most stuff, but I truly believe the Asian market is a force to be reckoned with!  I mean, we do spend about 12% of the GDP in this country!  Or should I say earn?

Anyways, don’t quote me on that statistic, I just said it to sound intelligent.  But seriously, why not use those abstract mannequins that you see that have no features and just relate to everyone.  After all, we are really just concerned with the body of the form and not the face on it!
